One thing that I hate about politicians (Obama in this case) is that all of a sudden they claim to have a perfect solution to fix a problem and are pleading for re/election so they can implement their special plan that will save America. They totally ignore the fact that they have been in power in the past and in the position to sponsor a bill that would have achieved their goal.

Obama has a tendency to say what the people in front of him want him to say (be it about people clinging to their guns and religion or about immigration). McCain on the other hand can be a little to real for his own good (such as McCain losing Michigan because he was honest and said that the state’s lost jobs where never coming back).

McCain at least tried to do something about illegal immigration and he learned a lesson that will allow him to bring about real change to the issue and not just rhetoric.

“We will not succeed in the Congress of the United States until we convince a majority of the American people that we have border security.” McCain said.
